Dr. Byung Yoo holds a Ph.D. and MBA in business administration from the University of Illinois and a BS in industrial engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.

Adjunct Associate Professor
Dr. Sehwan “Peter” Yoo is an adjunct associate professor of mathematics and of science, specifically physics. He has also served as a principal of Shinpyeong High School in South Korea since September 2010. Dr. Yoo received his B.S in Engineering Physics (Astronomy) from the University of Arizona, a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from MyongJi University, Korea, and his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Kansas. Dr. Yoo also studied Computer Sciences at Delaware State University. He was a faculty member of the University of Advancing Technology, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Delaware State University, University of Arkansas, and Ajou University for about 20 years. Dr. Yoo’s specialty is in superconductivity and neural networks. He has experience in astronomical research, scientific data analysis, financial forecasting, and wireless network forecasting using time series and neural networks. He has also investigated the fabrication and characterization of superconductivity. Dr. Yoo has over 50 publications in journals and has presented his research findings at many conferences. He is also a member of the Editorial Review Board for the Academy of Information and Management Science Journal.

Prof. Yoon holds a BA from Sungkyungkwan and a MS.from the State University of New York at Albany. During her time at SUNY Albany, she taught English to international students. She has been teaching Korean language since 1998. Prof. Yoon teaches English full-time at a Seoul Language Institute. While with UMUC, she has taught courses at Camp Humphreys and Camp Henry in South Korea.

Prof. Yun holds a BA in English Literature from Konkuk University and an MBA from Sungkyunkwan University located in Seoul, South Korea. He has taught at Los Angeles Metropolitan College and with the University of Maryland University College (UMUC), Asia. His hobbies include reading books, hiking and learning the Chinese language.
