Adjunct Instructor
Prof. Daniela da Silva holds a B.S. in biology from the Universidade do Vale do Paraiba in Brazil and a M.S. in Coastal, Marine and Wetland Studies from Coastal Carolina University. Her undergraduate research examined the interaction between artisanal fisheries and coastal dolphins in Brazil. During her graduate student career, she was granted a fellowship from the National Science Foundation for which she developed lesson plans geared towards enhancing the teaching of middle school science with real data. She also secured several research grants to study bottlenose dolphins in the Carolinas. She volunteered with the SC Marine Mammal Stranding Network and mentored several undergraduate students on their research projects. After graduation, Prof. Silva taught undergraduate laboratory courses at Coastal Carolina University and continued her research into the population structure and ecology of bottlenose dolphins in the southeast US. She currently lives in Japan where she is working on scientific publications and teaching.

Prof. Dhanraj holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from St. Martin's University, a Master in international relations from Troy University, a Ph.D. in organizational and management from Capella University. She is considered subject matter expert in topics such as Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior and Transformation, Human Resource Management, Healthcare Leadership, Distance Learning, and Organizational Leadership to name a few. She is dedicated to issues such poverty, entrepreneurship, environment, leadership, personal and business finance and women affairs and has written or presented globally on topics related to these issues. Currently, when she is not saving the world one x-ray at a time, she works as a researcher, an educator, and as the Director of Radiology. .
